Your Responsibilities
- Set up, tool, and monitor CNC machines
- Manufacture series parts, single parts, and prototypes from aluminum
- Inspect manufactured parts for quality requirements
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training, preferably as a
- machining technician with professional experience in CNC milling,
good programming knowledge, ideally with Fanuc/Siemens - control systems, confident handling of 2D/3D data, meticulous working style
- Teamwork skills, independence, and
- initiative complete your profile.

FKM Elemente GmbH is a partner in the research project Railway-X.
Similar to Catena-X in the automotive industry, this project aims to build a digital platform for transparency, sustainability, and data networking in the railway sector.
Railway-X brings together companies, universities, and research partners – including Technische Universität Braunschweig, Siemens, DB, and other renowned institutes. This creates a unique ecosystem where practice and science work hand in hand.
As an SME partner, FKM assumes the role of integrating the perspective of medium-sized enterprises – and you can actively shape it!
🚀 Your Mission
⏱️ Project period: October 2025 to approx. December 2026.
🔗 Shape data transparency: Clarify with suppliers how and in what format data can be delivered.
📊 Process PCF data: Collection, integration, and preparation of PCF (Product Carbon Footprint).
💾 Establish structures: Create a database or CSV file for storage and processing.
🌱 Calculate sustainability: Determine and calculate your own PCF, including supplier data.
🎓 Your Profile
🎯 Degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Management or similar.
🌍 Interest in sustainability, data management & digitalization.
🧩 Analytical thinking and a structured approach.
💡 Initial experience with Excel, CSV or databases is an advantage.
