The FKM Elemente GmbH<\/b> is a partner in the research project Railway-X<\/b>.

This project aims to build a digital platform for transparency, sustainability, and data networking<\/b> in the railway sector, similar to Catena-X<\/b> in the automotive industry. Railway-X brings together companies, universities, and research partners<\/b> \u2013 including Technische Universit\u00e4t Braunschweig<\/b>, Siemens, DB<\/b>, and other renowned institutes. This creates a unique ecosystem where practice and science work hand in hand.<\/p>

As an SME partner<\/b>, FKM assumes the role of integrating the perspective of medium-sized enterprises \u2013 and you can actively shape it!<\/b><\/b><\/p>

\u23f1\ufe0f Project period: October 2025 to approx. December 2026.
\ud83d\udd17 Foster data transparency: Clarify with suppliers how and in what format data can be delivered can be provided.
\ud83d\udcca Process PCF data: Collection, integration, and preparation of PCF (Product Carbon Footprint).
\ud83d\udcbe Establish structures: Create a database or CSV file for storage and processing.
\ud83c\udf31 Calculate sustainability: Determine and calculate your own PCF, including the supplier data.<\/p>

\ud83c\udfaf Degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, <\/b>Environmental Management<\/b> or similar.
\ud83c\udf0d Interest in sustainability, data management & digitalization<\/b>.
\ud83e\udde9 Analytical thinking and structured approach.
\ud83d\udca1 Initial experience with Excel, CSV, or databases<\/b> is an advantage.<\/p>
